Indian Painting in vitreous flux by my mother

My mother, Trudy Faust, and I visited David in his gallery and studio sometime in the 1980's. Soon after that she produced this gorgeous painting. Not only is it not muddy, but has clean, gemlike colors, but the subject matter is deep and evocative. All of humanity's suffering and nobleness are in that face. Don't you agree?
